7th Annual Family Day Picnic Sets
New Attendance Record
The Western Wake Republican Club held our 7th Annual Family Day Picnic on Saturday , June 14th - Flag Day ! Thanks to all who attended or supported the picnic this year - we set an all time attendance record with more than 135 adults and over 30 children in attendance !
The children had a great time and the additional pavilion provided them with their own space away from the adults and included face painting, a piñata, prizes and other activities that kept them busy and truly made the picnic a family event. The food received rave reviews and was provided by Danny's BBQ. Overall, the talk of the picnic was that of one of the best picnics ever in the club's seven year history! If you missed this one you missed a great day!
With more than 25 elected officials and candidates participating in the activities , many of our guests commented on such a great opportunity to meet and speak directly with these individuals. We also had guests comment on the other useful resources that were made available, such as district/precinct maps, literature, yard signs and bumper stickers. The funds raised from this event and other WWRC events will be put to great use this year; as we plan to devote much of it to assist our candidates, and for the betterment of the Republican Party. The directors of WWRC plan to discuss many of our ideas for the uses of funds at our next monthly meeting, Monday, June 23rd at Bentley's. All members should plan to attend this meeting as it will be a working meeting - with very exciting discussions. Now is the time to put all our hard work to good use for our candidates!

Welcome to the Western Wake Republican Club! An officially chartered club through the Republican Party of North Carolina, WWRC covers the areas of Cary, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Apex, Garner and Fuquay-Varina in Wake County.
Our mission is to get Republican candidates elected. We are a grassroots organization devoted to upholding the ideals and values of the GOP. We are dedicated to helping our community learn about politics and participate in political activities. Monthly meetings provide members and guests the opportunity to exchange perspectives on local, state, and national issues.
